We are makers, not merchants

Every piece we sell originates entirely under our own hand in Pakistan. Nothing is bought in, rebadged, or assembled from another's components.

Lotus Metal Works was established in 1951 and has never departed from its founding discipline: the transformation of raw metal into service pieces worthy of the finest rooms. Three generations of the family have presided over the house, and a number of our artisans learned their craft from those who trained under the founder himself.

That unbroken lineage is the whole of our advantage. To raise copper by hand, to dress a seam until it cannot be found, to marry a lid to its own body rather than to a tolerance — these are not procedures that can be written down and delegated. They reside in the hands of people who have practised them for a lifetime.

We are entrusted by five-star hotel groups, banqueting houses and catering establishments who expect a decade of daily service from what they acquire. Pearl Continental and Serena Hotels have specified our pieces across their properties. A single bespoke commission and a complete property appointment receive the same undivided attention.

There is no minimum that would exclude a serious client, and no commission too considerable to accept. What we decline to do is abbreviate the finishing — the discipline that distinguishes a piece still handsome in its eighth year from one that is not.

Materials & Finishes

18/10 Stainless Steel

18% chromium for corrosion resistance, 10% nickel for the depth of the polish. Dishwasher-safe, non-reactive, and able to hold a mirror finish through years of commercial washing.

Hand-raised Copper

Worked by hand from sheet, annealed between stages, and lined with stainless steel on every food-contact surface. Copper's thermal conductivity is roughly twenty times that of stainless steel.

Cast & Drawn Brass

Legs, handles, knobs and stands. Specified for rigidity under repeated thermal cycling, and because it develops rather than degrades with age.
